Job Summary/Description: Wyoming News Now seeks a talented and energetic broadcaster to join our award-winning team. We are looking for a someone who is just as excited to prepare/deliver weather forecasts as they are to report as an MMJ for our news segments on Wyoming News Now. The position is open because we're sending folks to Top 100 markets! News directors love to hire well-rounded broadcasters, and this position is tailor-made to provide that. The person we hire must have a positive attitude and be an ambassador for the station by making personal appearances at community events. The right candidate will be responsible for the following: • Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts • Prepare graphics to support weather presentation • Conversational On-air presentation • Flexible schedule for severe weather scenarios • Pitch quality story ideas for day-turn content • report news stories for our news segments as an MMJ • Post content to website and station social media platforms

Requirements:

• Degree in broadcast journalism. • Some anchor experience (college experience accepted). • Pre-employment and random drug testing are a condition of employment. • You must possess a valid driver’s license had have a good driving record. ◘ Interested applicants can apply online at https://gray.tv/careers#currentopenings by searching the station call letters (KGWN-TV) and attach your resume
