Description:

As the Maintenance and Facilities Technician you will represent TASTE at all times, helping the company meet its overall goals - TASTE has multiple locations in Hampton Roads and one location in Richmond that you will help maintain by: • Conducting routine inspections of all business locations including premises and equipment • Performing preventative maintenance at all locations, including but not limited to: handling basic repairs (electrical, plumbing, etc.); diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting; repairing machines, equipment or structures as necessary; painting • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary • Handling diverse and/or additional warehouse and kitchen needs as they arise • Performing general Warehouse duties and maintenance as assigned by the Warehouse Manager *Must have own vehicle that can transport ladders and equipment as needed on a daily basis *Must have valid drivers license and vehicle insurance *Must be 21 years old

Requirements:

-Must be able to lift over 75 lbs -Proven maintenance experience -High School diploma or general education degree (GED) -Skilled in use of hand tools and power tools including, but not limited to, hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches -Experience reading and understanding blueprints, using repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary -Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail -Professional presentation and can-do attitude -Strong time-management skills, with ability to multi-task working alone and with others
