Description:

A Sonic General Manager is the Captain of their own ship! You will lead a team toward goals that can be very professionally and financially rewarding for you! As a SONIC Drive-In General Manager, you will lead your team in an on-going effort to give our guests a Great Service Experience! You will be in charge of training and supporting drive-in employees, ensuring that food and service is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to the most loyal fans in the industry! Essential General Manager job duties are listed below: ● Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops ● Directs and assigns drive-in employees as needed to ensure operational standards are met ● Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices ● Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties ● Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels ● Monitors and maintains inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies as needed ● Completes and maintains all drive-in employment related records and payroll records ● Reinforces a "customer first" culture and ensures all employees are focused on "Fast, Fresh, and Friendly" ● Resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and resolves guest complaints ● Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels ● Develops action plans to resolve unfavorable operational or financial trends

Requirements:

Additional General Manager Requirements: ● High school diploma or equivalent required. Studies in business, management or related fields are helpful ● Minimum of two (6) Months of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred) ● Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices ● Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations ● Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills ● The ability to work days, nights and week-ends (some holidays as well) ● Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
