The Vision behind the idea of the truck was to be able to extend our hospitality beyond our original location at 92nd St, and to continue to provide a fun, welcoming atmosphere that set us apart from all other ice cream shops while carrying the values everywhere we go: Hospitality, Integrity, Respect and Happiness At Every Stop We set colorful chairs, cones, music and of course our ice cream truck to create unforgettable moments filled with joy, fun and of course RAINBOW CONES! This Mission can only be accomplished by leaders and team members that can work hard and understand our vision and being courteous with guest and each other. Cashier Duties and Responsibilities: •Greet shop/truck customers •Order taking •Communicate with the team for special orders or any allergies •Wiping down counters •Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs. •Restock bowls, cones, behind the counter •Restock napkins and spoons for customers •Wipe down surfaces in between customers •Assist with other tasks as neededCashier Requirements and Qualifications •High school diploma or GED certificate a plus •Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally •Must be at least 16 years old •Current food handler’s card preferred •Ability to stand for extended periods of time •Prior cashier experience a plus •Flexibility of hours •Customer service skills •Reliable Transportation is a must

We are looking for hardworking people who have great customer service and good attitudes who will work well with our team. In exchange for your excellent service, Rainbow Cone provides you with work experience and skills, future employment reference and potential growth opportunities. Team Leads duties include but are not limited to: 1. Motivate the team. 2. Customer service. 3. Handling customer complaints. 4. Monitor business operations 5. Be part of the team in also carrying out duties that include running, cleaning related tasks and stocking items. Rainbow Cone need seasonal employees on nights and weekends, especially weekend nights, typically 5:30pm to 10pm. A typical work week for our employees is 15 to 30 hours per week. All employees are required to work Rainbow Cone’s outdoor events and some holidays and need to be able to physically work on their feet for at least 5 hours at a time as well as work in hot and cold temps.
