Essential Functions: • Clean all areas of our locations and make sure facility is presentable to customers. • Ensure grounds areas are clean and orderly. • Keep inventory of supplies. • Follow up on tasks to verify timely completion and quality of work done. • Clean, sanitize, and supply bathrooms and showers. • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. • Gather and empty trash. • Cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. • Protect the assets of the company. Report to the Shift Manager or Division Leader. Provide excellent customer service while servicing and maintaining customer’s tractors and trailers. Responsible for providing quality customer service and getting the driver safely back on the road. • Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections. • Conduct state and federal inspections. • Perform light diesel truck repairs including alignments and electrical checks. • Diagnose mechanical problems using charts, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment. • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to ensure facility is presentable. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with co-workers and customers. • Conduct field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown. • Knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms • comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools • Protect the assets of the company.
Must have certification from diesel mechanic trade school and/or 2+ years of related experience, the ability to pass certifications tests, and the ability to obtain Class A CDL. Required to have own tools, a clean driving record and the ability to drive the service truck on road calls. Willkomm’s TA Truck Service is a 24 hour facility with six service bays in operation. Our mechanics provide service repairs and maintenance for the customer in a professional and timely manner. Report to the Division Leader and Shift Manager. Actively listens to the customer’s truck concerns and effectively communicates a solution, in a timely manner. Responsible for providing quality customer service and getting the driver safely back on the road. Essential Functions: • Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance. • Listens and interacts with customer to help Identify the mechanical problem. • Confer with customers about inspection results and recommend corrective procedures. • Prepare work orders for needed repairs and service. • Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer and take payment for services rendered.
