Company Profile: The Dish, a counter-service restaurant, serves gourmet breakfast, lunch & dinner meals in about five minutes. Report to the Kitchen Leader and the Division Leader. Responsible for making sure all food is properly prepared and follow all sanitation and food handling procedures. Ensure that food prepared is presented and delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Provide customer with an enjoyable and delicious meal. Essential Functions: • Prepare food orders as they come in. • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff • Prep food for use on next shift. • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures • Identify kitchen food needs and pull food from freezer to allow time for thawing. • Notify Kitchen Leader of items needed before the item is completely out. • Follow all menus, menu plating instructions, company guidelines and procedures to maintain food consistency. • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures • Be knowledgeable & apply the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines when handling food. Non-Essential Functions: • Maintain a clean, sanitized, safe, organized and well-stocked restaurant to ensure restaurant is presentable. • Sweep, mop, and organize coolers and other areas of the kitchen. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Maintain a safe environment when dealing with any and all cooking utensils. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with co-workers.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Must be self-motivated, organized, maintain a positive attitude and professional behavior when interacting with customers and co-workers. Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Familiar with industry’s best practices. Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for a long period of time during his or her shift and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have efficient multi-tasking and time management skills. Reports to the Division Leader Summary of Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant. Creating a sense of welcome and personalized service excellence for the guest. • Interact with customers by taking and receiving orders, processing payment, and responding to whatever the customer needs. • Basic Math skills, able to make change quickly and accurately. • Ensure customer receives the best service while dining. • Display an active presence in the dining area and public areas, interacting with guests. • Monitor resources, ensuring the tools are available to deliver services that meet and exceed guest expectations. • Communicate all customer concerns and comments to the Shift Leader to ensure best dining experience. • Follow company guidelines and procedures and maintain excellent Customer Service Standards. • Stand out in front of the cash register area when not completing a transaction. • Keep cashier area clean and organized. • Make sure restaurant is presented in way consistent with our mission. • Ensure kitchen completes orders in a timely manner and delivers them to customer. • Confirm with customer that everything has exceeded their expectation. Non-Essential Functions: • Maintain a clean, safe, organized and well-stocked restaurant to ensure restaurant is presentable. • Clean all areas of the restaurant i.e.: including but not limited to, dining area, vestibule, restrooms, stockroom, kitchen area, ensure all areas are properly clean, sanitized and presentable to guests at all times. • Keep inventory of supplies. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with with co-workers and guests.

Description
Reports to the Shift Leader or Division Leader. Responsible for making sure all food is properly prepared and follow all sanitation and food handling procedures. Responsibilities: • Follow company guidelines and procedures for preparing meals quickly and accurately. • Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats. • Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times. • Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes. • Monitoring inventory and notify Shift Leader when orders for more supplies as needed. • Cleaning workstations before and after pizza preparation. • Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use. • Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly. • Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner. • Prep food for use on next shift. • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed. • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations • Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc. • Wear appropriate uniform, footwear, name tag and maintain cleanliness of the uniform. • Maintain a safe environment when dealing with any and all cooking utensils. • Sweep, mop, and organize coolers and other areas of the kitchen. • Maintain a clean, safe, organized and well-stocked restaurant to ensure restaurant is presentable. • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team, assisting and communicating effectively with co-workers. • Protect the assets of the company
