Title: Floral Supervisor Classification: Exempt Reports to: Director of Floral Position Summary: The Floral Supervisor will be responsible for driving Sales & Margin growth through maintaining appropriate store inventory and store gross margins. Duties and Responsibilities: • Will be required to analyze price trends and assess their impact on future activities as well as continuously develop market knowledge • Responsible for developing store personnel (Merchandising, Ordering, and Inventory Control) • Responsible for training and monitoring the in-store ordering program. • Interact with the warehousing and distribution teams • Visits stores weekly, to: o Follow up on the store’s policies and procedures to ensure follow through o Monitor programs and obtain store feedback to assess overall implementation effectiveness o Monitor Store follow through on floral displays - Freshness, Appeal, Signs, Quality of Product to ensure we are offering the best quality floral to our Customers o Ensure the handling of floral by team members adheres to Company procedures and standards; cull, replenish and rotate throughout the day o Attend meetings to coordinate promotions and store display & labor needs Knowledge and Skills: • Possess excellent listening and verbal communication along with excellent writing and computer skills • Manage, track and control several ongoing projects concurrently • Willing and able to work any hours any days and travel as necessary • Exhibit strong ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports • Be extremely self-motivated, take initiative and drive results • Multi-task and work in fast paced, multiple-priority environment • Be highly organized and detail oriented • Ability to be a change agent and not get easily frustrated with external and internal obstacles • Must have the attitude and aptitude to overcome. Be a champion of change • Be available to respond to calls on urgent matters, including after business hours, on weekends and holidays if necessary This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employees may perform other duties as directed. Requirements:

Required Education and Experience: • BA/BS Degree preferred • 5+ years of Operation experience preferred • Excellent knowledge of floral; solid understanding of floral (Potted & Cuts) varieties handled in a Retail & Wholesale operation • Solid understanding of floral Merchandising • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Bi-lingual in Spanish as this will facilitate communication with associates at store level • Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles driving record Physical Demands • May also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time up to 30lbs, and up to 50lbs assisted lifting. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Monday – Sunday, (flexible schedule) must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
