Job Summary: KXII is looking to fill a full-time Weekend Director in our Sherman, Texas studio. Hours are, but not limited to, 2pm - 11pm Tuesday through Saturday. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Directing over the air content such as: news, severe weather, etc. *Running live newscast graphics *Co-training and co-leading a news production team *Supervising Master Control media prep *Quality control *Non-linear spot editing

Requirements:

2 years minimum experience in live program directing for broadcast television is required. The ability to work in a live, fast paced environment is required. Adobe Premiere Pro editing skills are preferred. Strong leadership skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a team oriented attitude are mandatory. College or technical degrees are strongly considered.
