This is a full-time position with responsibilities that include processing a variety of customer transactions using a computerized Point of Sales system, collecting cash, check or charge payments, counting change, redeeming coupons, gift certificates and gift cards, processing department transfers and listening to customer feedback and resolving problems. The schedule is 40hours per week, including hours on days, evenings and Saturdays.

Requirements

Qualifications include excellent people skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, basic computer skills, the ability to work well under pressure, the ability to move about the checkout area and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. We are looking for a candidate who is growth minded. Prior supervisory or leadership experience a plus.

Full Time Position, Monday through Friday, Daytime hours This position is responsible for performing general handyman or home maintenance work that could include, but is not limited to light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall and paint touchup. Candidates would also be expected to be able to review plan designs and check material lists to identify any potential installation problems and ensure that all necessary materials have been ordered as well as review and complete job sheets. Need to be able to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted, be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

This is a part time position (between 10-18 hours weekly). Responsibilities include: Assists customers with the purchase of lawn & garden equipment and assists with ordering of parts by performing the following duties: Assists customers on the sales floor with the purchase of power equipment along with looking up and selling parts. Actively listens and asks questions to evaluate customer’s needs and finds the product or solutions to meet those needs. Assists in answering phones for the division. Stay up to date on new products and vendor offerings Help customers apply and process financing offers through equipment vendors Assists customers with the drop-off or pick-up of power equipment to be repaired by making service orders and updating information in customer’s file. Assists customers with the drop-off or pick-up of items for sharpening or tire repair. On a monthly basis, contacts customers who have make power equipment purchases to solicit feedback on their satisfaction and to address any questions or concerns. Maintains a spreadsheet with this information. On a seasonal basis, contacts and schedules equipment service for customers who have signed up. Customers with snowblowers to service are contacted in September. Customers with all tractors/walkbehinds/gators are contacted from November through January. Updates interest in customer maintenance to track completiong of call list and levels of participation. Assist and help perform inventory counts of parts and wholegoods. This is done monthly and yearly to ensure inventory is correct.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software, Part Smart Manufacturing software and Excel Spreadsheet software. Needs to be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds and be on feet for extended periods of time.

This Full Time position is responsible for assisting customers with wide variety of rental equipment, including explaining and demonstrating use and features. Additional responsibilities include using computer to reserve equipment and create rental contracts; delivering rentals to customers’ homes; maintaining, repairing and cleaning equipment and answering department phones. The position involves some counter work - some shop work. The schedule of approximately 40 hours per week includes hours on days, evenings and every other Saturday.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills are required. In addition, qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age; have basic computer skills; a desire to learn; and the ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs. Equipment knowledge or mechanical aptitude is preferred. A valid PA Driver’s License is necessary to drive/deliver equipment using 17’ trailer as well as the ability to obtain a company-paid Medical Examiner’s Certificate for the operation of certain vehicles.

Description

This seasonal, part-time position accurately assembles grills, furniture and patio furniture for delivery as well operates a box truck as necessary to deliver merchandise for the company. The position may also assist in the accurate assembly of merchandise for the sales floor as well as assembly for customer deliveries and pick-ups. Responsibilities include the loading and unloading of trucks; reading work orders or other related paperwork to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed; operating a 3,500 to 4,000 lbs. electric tow motor, with or without a 12’ long protruding carpet pole, to load and unload freight and accurately assembling merchandise. The position typically works day shift hours Monday through Friday from March-August

Qualifications include a valid Pa driver’s license, clean driving record and the ability to operate a box truck for deliveries. Additional responsibilities include the ability to operate a forklift and hand and power tools; the ability to understand and use assembly instructions; and the ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
