We are excited to announce that our new Store, located in Enid, Oklahoma will open in Feb 2021! In preparation for the opening, we are ready to hire some awesome talent, starting with our Store Assistant Manager. We also have several other Assistant Manager openings throughout many of our store locations.
Starting at $12 per hour. The Assistant Manager works with the Store Manager to perform various tasks involved in the overall operation of the store, including measuring business trends and maximizing sales/profitability by developing staff and by controlling expenses, shortages and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overall management of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The employee performs all work according to the vision and values of Jiffy Trip Stores and Hammer Williams Company.
High School graduate or GED preferred. Knowledge of health department standards is helpful. Previous experience with Point of Sales equipment and credit card machine preferred. Must have the ability to exchange currency at point of sale. Previous Assistant Management background is a plus.
This job operates in a retail setting, usually indoors in a controlled climate. This role routinely requires standing for long periods of time. This position may be subjected to irregular hours. Position may require lifting or carrying of items up to 50 pounds or higher.
