Description:

The Assistant Manager works with the Sonic Manager to help the restaurant achieve established operating standards, sales and profits. Trains and supports the drive-in crew members to provide quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner. Operates switchboard and records customer orders, prepares and serves food. Assists with staffing and managing crew members, day to day operations, marketing, and maintenance of the restaurant. Helps to ensure that the restaurant is consistently operating in accordance with drive-in operations system, and the company's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related field preferred. 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of heath department standards is helpful. Must have the ability to exchange currency at point of sale.

This job operates in a retail/restaurant setting, usually indoors in a controlled climate. This role routinely requires standing for long periods of time. This position may be subjected to irregular hours. Position may require lifting or carrying of items up to 50 pounds or higher. Position may also have exposure to possible hazards such as equipment that could cause burns, exposure to extreme hot/cold, exposure to dust/fumes, exposure to moving mechanical parts and exposure to potential electrical conditions.
