Our stores are currently located throughout Oklahoma and we are expanding into Arkansas with new stores expected to open early this year. With our company growth, we have a need to expand our IT Department and we are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as the Manager of IT Operations. Description The Manager of IT Operations will supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company’s network, client servers, databases, and equipment. This includes managing the IT staff responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems. The Manager of IT Operations will also work closely with the IT executive staff and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Operations Management • Oversee the daily activities of the IT Operations department to ensure functionality, availability, and security of Hammer Williams IT systems. Troubleshoot and remediate issues as they arise. • Manage department team members, including performance and training assessments. Assist in the development of the IT staffing plan and professional growth. • Ensure compliance of department and organizational policies. • Manage IT department services and prepare management reports of department activities, tasks, and operational metrics. • Ensure the efficient utilization of IT resources – including personnel and equipment – across the organization. • Oversee all reports and documentation related to network and systems operations. • Develop maintenance schedules for network and systems equipment. • Conduct system feasibility studies and testing. • Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation to executive team, department leads, support staff, and end users. • Develop asset management system for IT hardware, software, and equipment. Ideal Candidate • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate integrity, outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills. • Strong problem solving, analytics, and research capabilities and ability to handle changing priorities, and use good judgment in high pressure situations. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. • Keen attention to detail. • Exceptional customer service orientation. • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge & Experience • Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, SQL Server, VMWare. • Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including POS, PC, Server Architectures, Cloud Architectures. • Extensive application support experience with PDI Enterprise, NCR Radiant RPOS, and Epsilon. • Extensive knowledge of programming languages, including C++, C#, VB. • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. • In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. • Strong understanding of project management principles. Education • University degree in the field of computer science or information systems and/or 10 years related work experience, preferably in the petroleum, retail environment.
