Description:

The Team Member(TM) position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support, while working closely with the Restaurant Manager and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. General Responsibilities • Greet guests, escort them to tables or appropriate waiting area, provide menus and communicate the guest arrival to the server • Record table status accordingly based on seating and server assignment charts • Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette. Communicate special guest needs to servers and restaurant supervisors • Collect and maintain cleanliness of dining menus, wine menus or appetizer menus throughout the restaurant • Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, service staff and guests to ensure dining details are handled properly and guest concerns are addressed • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of restaurant offerings to communicate with guests and prepare them for their dining experience • Provide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options and general resort and regional information

Requirements:

Job Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Food Handler Certificate required. Experience: • Previous guest service experience preferred. • Excellent oral communication skills required. • Positive interpersonal skills required. • Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
