Description:

The Director of Roadshows and Demonstrations is responsible for building and sustaining business relationships with Wholesale Customer’s Management and Buyers within the United States. This requires planning, managing, continually enhancing, and operating in-store tastings and demonstrations that set Mayorga apart as a leader in Organic product excellence. This position also surveys competitors in our category; monitors brand movement, pricing and distribution penetration at roadshow/demo events; and identifies and develops new sales opportunities for the roadshow/demo team.

Requirements:

1. Strong management and delegation skills. 2. BS in Business/Marketing discipline. 3. Affiliation with successful manufacturing companies with a minimum of three (3) years as a manager in a manufacturing company. 4. Strong leadership and ability to translate business management terms into understandable terms for line managers. 5. Administration and Management -- knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources; strong strategic planning skills; analytical in synthesizing complex and diverse information to make decisions. 6. Customer orientation -- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. 7. Technology — general knowledge of the use of computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to solve business problems including web-based systems to both provide process effectiveness and metrics. 8. Human Resources Management – recruits, develops and builds team encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members; general knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems to balance staffing needs with profitability and growth. 9. Communication— effective written communication skills demonstrated in presentations, analysis, and evaluations; clear and persuasive in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings; represents the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources; promotes objectives of Mayorga in contracts and negotiations. In dealing with sales staff – the ability to arrange things or actions in certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules to ensure consistent performance across the unit. 10. Problem solving— identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. 11. Management skills—the individual includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; makes self available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; and develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth; delegates work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; inspires and motivates others to perform well and accepts feedback from others. 12. Interpersonal Relationships — develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time. 13. Vision and Innovation — identify, develops, designs, or creates new ideas, relationships, systems, or products; provides leadership throughout the organization. 14. Quality management— looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. 15. Judgment— displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions. 16. Planning/organizing— prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Develops a market-specific strategy to increase market share by outlining tactics, activities and resources.

Salary: $55,000 to $65,000
