Description:

The Pick and Pack Associate performs picking of wanted products and packing of sales products. The associate can also support in bagging, labeling, packaging and cleaning activities, which require a thorough working knowledge of various procedures and the ability to operate different machines. Each pick and pack associate must be committed to and follow Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) food safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Guarantees every order assigned to the working day must be packed and ready for pick up of freight or parcel shipment services • Every order containing a finished product roasted in facility must contain batch information in warehouse management system ACCTivate • Responsible for the neatness of case picking and finished product area  Loading and unloading machines  Following the instruction of acting Supervisor, as well as the guidelines set forth by our Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) policies  Labeling of various sized bags and cans in a proper and efficient manner  Performing equipment changeover when necessary  Daily Cleaning of equipment and work stations at the end of the shift  Performing quality control inspections (labels applied correctly, codes, dates)  Assisting other associates when their help is needed
