Upon entering Vasili’s Kitchen, guests are whisked away to Greece through the unrivaled ambiance, unparalleled hospitality and fresh tastes of the carefully sourced farm-to-table ingredients served. The menu, characterized by Mediterranean inspired recipes with creative modern interpretations, has been carefully designed by Greek celebrity chef, Yiannis Lucacos. Lucacos, also a restaurateur, brings his expertise to the table by crafting a menu that explores the Vasili’s experience of sustainability, creativity and hospitality. In order to bring this vision to life, we’re looking to build our team with ambassadors. As an ambassador of our restaurant, your main goal is to entice the guests to explore the menu, broaden their palate, and convey the true essence of Greek hospitality. We will be selecting individuals who meet these criteria and also represent themselves and our restaurant in a neat and professional manner. You must be able to exert grace under pressure to ensure that guests always feel welcome and that they are receiving your undivided attention. Job Responsibilities: • Assist with greeting and seating of all guests. • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage products offered, including each menu item, current promotions, and daily specials. • Stock front of house supplies as needed. • Maintain clean dining rooms and restrooms throughout shift. • Clearly communicate customer’s special requests, allergies or instructions to kitchen staff. • Check prepared food for quality and accuracy before serving guests. • Clear dishes from the table when appropriate. • Deliver guests their check. Pre-bus tables before delivering check. • Box or wrap any leftover items for guests upon request. • Communicate guest complaints to management immediately and assist in resolution where appropriate and directed. • Continuously check on needs of all guests in dining room. • Quickly and accurately transact any and all methods of payment, including but not limited to cash and credit cards. • Bus and set tables as needed. • Adhere to the sequence of our service guidelines. • Follow sanitation, safety and recycling guidelines. • Work cooperatively with other team members. • Complete all side work before shift ends. • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Job Requirements: • ABC license required if/ where applicable • At least 1-2 years experience in high volume, upscale fine dining restaurant • Strong Customer Service skills
