Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for preparing, mixing and serving drinks and beverages directly and correctly to guests or through other serving staff. Also responsible for demonstrating thorough knowledge of ingredients while guiding guests through the menu and ordering process. Work with team members to deliver food and beverage orders quickly and efficiently. Must be able to provide friendly and attentive service that exceeds guest's expectations to ensure repeat guests. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage products offered, including each menu item, current promotions, and daily specials. • Stock bar supplies as needed. • Clearly communicate customer’s special requests, allergies or instructions to kitchen staff. • Check prepared food for quality and accuracy before serving guests. • Clear dishes from the tables/ bar when appropriate. • Deliver guests their check. Pre-bus tables/ bar before delivering check. • Box or wrap any leftover items for guests upon request. • Communicate guest complaints to management immediately and assist in resolution where appropriate and directed. • Continuously check on needs of all guests at tables/ bar. • Quickly and accurately transact any and all methods of payment, including but not limited to cash and credit cards. • Bus and set tables as needed. • Adhere to the sequence of our service guidelines. • Follow sanitation, safety and recycling guidelines. • Work cooperatively with other team members. • Complete all side work before shift ends. • Other tasks as assigned. Requirements:

Experience: At least 3 years bartender experience in a fast paced, upscale/fine dining restaurant. A strong background in wine and cocktail creation required. Bartender License preferred. Physical: Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work Schedule: Weekend and evening hour availability is a must.
