Come be the Quality Supervisor at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. This person will have an eye for detail and a proven track record of promoting Quality and Food Safety. They’re known to be scrappy in getting results and will approach their jobs as if they were the owners of the company. They will assist the Quality Leader in developing procedures and programs related to Quality and Food Safety. The Quality Supervisor will also assist in the execution of the quality program by testing products for compliance to specifications and monitoring compliance to our GMP and HACCP programs. As a Quality Supervisor, you’ll need to have experience: • Performing and evaluating microbiological swabs of the facility. • Performing and evaluating product testing to determine compliance with Jeni’s quality standards. • Troubleshooting and resolving issues on the floor related to quality and food safety. • Assisting the Quality Leader in the development of procedures and programs related to Quality and Food Safety. • Keeping upper management apprised of quality and food safety issues as they arise.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will: • Have B.S. in food science, microbiology or related field or equivalent experience • Have at least 2 years experience in Food Quality Assurance. • Have experience in developing procedures and programs related to GFSI certification • Be able to lead projects/people, motivate team members and proactively anticipate and address issues • Able to work a flexible schedule • An affinity for Sweet Cream ice cream in your morning coffee • The motivation to work with driven, focused women and men from varying walks of life who take their jobs—but necessarily themselves—seriously
