Description:

Jeni’s is seeking team members to start immediately in our bakery on both first and second shifts. The hours for first shift are Monday – Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm, and the hours for second shift are 2:00pm – 10:30pm. The starting pay for this position is $10.50/hour. Once 90 days is completed, qualified team members will be eligible for medical benefits as low as $20 a month, as well as an increase to $11.00 per hour. Bakery Team Members will be familiar with what distinguishes Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams from other ice creams; be able to provide consistent, world-class work with every single batch; exhibit passion for teamwork, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean, stamina, and the ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Bakery employees will be expected to carry out the day-to-day production duties such as piping macarones, fluffing crisp, and mixing biscuits. Team members are expected to stand for 8 hours at a time and lift up to 50 pounds. All employees will be required to follow all food and personal safety guidelines outlined by our OSHA and HAACP programs. In addition, employees will be expected to fill out any logs or forms for regulatory purposes on a daily basis. This position requires handling ingredients including, but not limited to, eggs, dairy, wheat, and tree nuts.

Required qualifications: Strong attendance record at previous employment Talent, hustle and guts Positive attitude Food safety knowledge or previous experience in a food production facility or kitchen (preferred) Experience with medium to large production and kitchen equipment (preferred) Ability to deliver the high quality product over a period of time Mandatory overtime may be scheduled to meet production demand.
