Description:

Summary: The Project Analyst is responsible for providing data analysis to identify variances, trends, and opportunities in support of the Design & Construction team (D&C). Additionally, this position works closely with project directors to coordinate projects and help ensure requirements are met. This position reports to the Director, Capital Control & Analysis. Essential Functions: •Performs research and data analyses •Reviews processes, makes recommendations for improvement and documents workflows, processes and procedures. •Reviews new leases and ensures compliance with D&C lease requirements including certified cost, minimum spend, and turnover dates. •Coordinates project activities in support of Project Directors. •Assists with preparing contracts, change orders, agreements and coordinates with Project Directors and vendors to ensure projects meet financial and reporting requirements. •Assists with project status updates, capital analysis and exception reports to ensure accurate reporting based on project performance. •Monitors projects and consistently provides schedule analysis updates to internal and external teams, alerting of risks, variances and issues that could delay milestones. •Assists in testing, training and implementation of assigned projects. •Leads the project closeout process and certified cost statements. •Assists with CapEx/Business Case Post Audits. •Assists with Restaurant Development projects as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: •Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field •Requires at least 3-5 years of related experience •Knowledge of Accounting/finance processing procedures preferred •Requires advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint •PeopleSoft and Project Management skills are a plus •Requires the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, vendors, contractors and other corporate departments •Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
