Description:

Summary: The purpose of the Accounts Payable Specialist is to review, process and audit AP data, to report on key metrics. This role handles functions that include but are not limited to Vendor Master File, Pay-cycles, and transaction auditing. This position is also responsible for researching transaction related issues and facilitating timely resolution. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the AP Analyst or Manager, AP Control. Essential Functions: • Reviews, processes, and audits AP transactions • Monitors processes to ensure data integrity • Alerts management on any issues or trends impacting the department or organization • Generates a variety of reports to measure processes • Tracks essential information to develop metrics to enhance processes • Researches transactions to facilitate resolution • Assists with timely and accurate preparation and posting of journal entries

Requirements:
