Description:

Purpose: The purpose of the American Airlines Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the data systems integral for continuous operation of the airline clubs and lounges. This position will be responsible for cataloguing and communicating across multiple vendors and ensuring the outlets are receiving quality specified product or approved substitutions from vendors. This includes purchasing, product receiving and storage, facilitating use of relevant operations systems, as well as auditing data for accuracy. Essential Functions: • Ensures purchases are in accordance with company specifications and are from approved vendors; provides feedback to Management regarding item and vendor issues • Manages the data flow from ordering and receiving forms, and ensures data is correctly entered into systems • Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels • Fosters open communication between warehouse and other management staff • Ensures invoices are accurate and recorded in the food inventory system timely • Ensures food temperature logs are recorded daily by delivery • Ensures product transfers are properly recorded and timely • Assists with inventory management • Works with vendors to manage accounts payable and billing issues • Coordinates with Supply Chain manager and Controller to ensure product information and pricing is accurate in the Inventory Management System.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: • Requires a minimum of 1 year Inventory Management/Merchandising/Warehousing • Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse or food storage facility • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers • Requires a high level of computer literacy, including expertise in Excel, Outlook and Word • Requires excellent time management skills and project management skills
