View Job Description - Sr. Compensation Analyst
Description:The Sr. Compensation Analyst is responsible for analysis and administration of the company’s various compensation plans; ensuring internal and external equity of all cash-based compensation programs including base salary, incentive compensation (annual and long term) for field and headquarters associates; managing all salary survey input and analysis; and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.
Essential Functions:
• Serves as an internal consultant to Corporate and Field HR professionals with regard to compensation administration issues
• Administrates the company’s salary structures, the job evaluation process, and the development of job descriptions
• Participates in the analysis of the impact of the company’s financial performance on the expected long-term, annual, and quarterly incentive award levels, coordinates with Accounting Department to ensure incentive plan accruals are appropriately posted
• Identifies and participates in wage and salary surveys; analyzes survey results
• Provides support to field HR related to hourly compensation issues and assists with all questions related to pay procedures and out of guideline salary increases
• Participates in the development of compensation training programs
• Participates in quarterly and annual bonus processing
• Maintains the company’s salary structure; conducts analysis and makes recommendation for the annual salary range adjustment
• Maintains and publishes incentive plan documents, salary structures, and other compensation related documentation
• Manages annual performance management and merit processes
• Prepares data for regulatory compliance; ensures security of all data provided by management and team members
• Maintains data integrity in the HR other departments as needed
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, or Management; CCP designation or significant progress toward same is a plus
• Requires 5-6 years of directly related compensation analysis experience preferably in the food service/restaurant industry
• Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Requires strong Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint skills; proficient in PeopleSoft, HRMS and able to create and run basic queries
• Requires demonstrated attention to detail, strong time management, customer service skills, and organization skills
• Requires the ability to maintain information in confidence
• Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
