Description:Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting cost controls, budgeting and forecasting processes, financial
analysis and reporting, and accounting procedures for multiple locations with small to large sales volume
operations. The Financial Analyst is responsible assisting in the preparation of input into development projects
by working with field managers in accurately evaluating financial risks and returns of potentially new business
opportunities as well as providing financial analysis in support of business operations. This position may be
responsible in supervising the day-to- day activities of an administrative staff. This position is responsible for
evaluating the accounting processes at their location, focusing on standardization and simplification, as well as
performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This is an
exempt position and typically reports to the Operations Controller.
Essential Functions:
Provides supporting analysis in one or more of the following areas: revenue, cost management and
labor management
Ensures the preparation and transmission of branch accounting information such as sales and profit
figures, payroll data, accruals, transfers and inventories
Ensures internal accounting records are maintained and branch management and corporate/regional
reports are prepared in a timely manner.
Assists in maintaining an appropriate control environment within their area of responsibility ensuring
compliance with all corporate accounting standards within the region and provides necessary training to
branch management in all areas of accounting standards and corporate policies and procedures
Prepares the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the region
Provides accurate, fact-based analysis for ad hoc reporting as requested by the Operations Controller
Prepares reports and presentations, including developing financial bridges for management review
Supports short- and long-term regional strategies designed to deliver on key financial metrics
Implements defined metrics throughout an area of responsibility
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Requires 3 years in financial or business analysis, preferably in a medium to high volume environment
Requires an advanced working knowledge of Excel including financial modeling skills (NPV, IRR,
cost/benefit, trend analysis)

Requires strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently while managing
multiple tasks
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requires the ability to effectively read and interpret contractual agreements
Requires the ability to travel 25%
