The Front Line Cook is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and promoting the “Easy to Do Business With” philosophy of Handy Mart. The Front Line Cook is responsible for the following: • Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers. • Serves as food expeditor for food offerings. • Cooks a variety of food items in accordance with Company standards. • Responsible for food quality and merchandising to maximize customer appeal. • Ensures food safety standards are followed at all times. • Maintain food and beverage counters. • Operates cooking equipment in compliance with safety policies and standards. • Operates shift within Company guidelines to achieve sales and profit. • Follows all Company policies while on duty including safety and cash controls. • Maintains a clean store including sales floor, parking lot, and restrooms. • Assists with stocking of shelves and coolers as needed. • Adheres to all applicable laws regarding age verified sales. • Assists in other areas of the store as needed or assigned. • Performs other duties as needed or assigned by the manager on duty.
