As a member of the Esquire by Coopers’ Hawk team, the Cocktail Server will provide an exceptional guest experience by providing gracious hospitality and attentive service. This person will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Esquire’s drink and wine menu to best service our guests. Responsibilities • Greet all guests with hospitality and friendliness • Have a thorough knowledge of Esquire’s drink and wine menu in order to answer questions and make recommendations to our guests • Will have a general knowledge of our food menus and engage with guests and answer questions about food, beverage, and facilities in a friendly, helpful manner • Actively educate Guests on the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club and its offerings and rewards; invite them to participate in the Club with the goal of expanding our membership base • Serve alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards and legal guidelines • Maintain awareness and basic knowledge of Tasting Room functions and retail products as well as the wines featured on the current monthly tasting • Will serve as a resource to other Team Members regarding Esquire’s drink and wine offering • Communicate across all Team Member functions to ensure we are delivering a memorable Guest experience • Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift or closing in accordance with company guidelines • Responsible for sanitation and proper food handling • Complete necessary side work during non-busy hours • Maintain professional relationships with all managers and team members • Maintain a professional image at all times by adhering to all appearance and behavior guidelines in the Employee Handbook • Perform other duties as assigned, including working special events

Requirements:

Requirements • Must represent Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk Values • Must be at least 21 years of age • Cocktail Service experience preferred • A strong knowledge of wine and mixed alcoholic beverages • Experience in a full-service, upscale casual restaurant or an equivalent service environment preferred • Excellent interpersonal skills • Has a passion for guest service and hospitality-focused • Knowledge of and passion for food and wine • Hard-working and a team player • Experience using Micros or similar POS systems • Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members • Ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours/day • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility up to 6 hours in length • Must be able to read, write and understand English • Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper’s Hawk standards and with reasonable accommodation • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays • Certified in responsible alcohol service, where required, Cooper’s Hawk will help provide if needed Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk is an Equal Opportunity Employer
