Description:

This position is responsible for supporting franchise partners on growth and succession as well as managing all aspects of collection efforts. Other responsibilities include assisting in the transfer process (pre and post closing payment tracking) and overseeing the monthly franchisee billing process. Franchisee Growth (50%) • Support franchisees who are looking to grow with identifying opportunities and connecting with potential capital funding sources to fund their growth. • Connect with franchisees to discuss future growth plans and/or succession planning. • Develop framework with Operations and Development to streamline processes. • Develop and maintain relationships with restaurant brokers and franchise lenders across the US to actively promote buying and selling opportunities within the KFC brand. Collections (30%) • Act as liaison with franchisees on collecting royalty, NCAC, rent & other miscellaneous payments. • Prepare, distribute, and track all financial defaults and demands. • Partner with NCAC on payments, defaults, etc. • Collaborate with Control and AR on payment errors and aging corrections. • Serve as primary contact with outside collections agency regarding exited franchisees’ balances. Franchisee to Franchisee Transfers (10%) • Act as primary contact for both buyer and seller throughout entire transfer process, from initial document requests to collection of final balances. Ad-hoc Requests (10%) • Support the Franchise Finance Manager in preparing detailed reports for KFC’s Leadership Team on YTD progress against strategic goals. • Support KFC Finance Team as needed on ad-hoc projects and various strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

Education/Certifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or related field required • Experience o Years of Experience – Minimum of 3 years related experience. o Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Powerpoint). o Knowledge of Oracle (JD Edwards and/or PeopleSoft) and/or Microsoft Power BI are a plus. o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels. o Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate office environment.
