Description:The position serves as a critical point of contact between the Brand and franchisees for all matters relating to their franchise agreements, related agreements, and franchise transactions in general. Contract administration responsibilities are allocated by territory and by transaction type.
•Drafts and administers all franchise and related agreements for execution by franchisees in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring:
•compliance with disclosure requirements;
•franchisee obligations are properly captured;
•Brand policies and incentives are appropriately applied (where applicable); and
•all franchise fees are correctly calculated for invoicing
•Ensures prompt countersignature and return of all agreements and fees, as well as any required supporting documentation required for transaction completion.
•Follows appropriate escalation procedures, including engaging direct supervisor or attorney at the appropriate time.
•Accurately assigns, logs, and communicates new KFC Outlet ID#s.
•Prepares and distributes all internal/external correspondence (e.g., letters, notifications, memos, reports, etc.) related to franchise agreements and franchisee transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
•Creates and maintains electronic records pertaining to franchisee, restaurant, relationship, and agreement data with accuracy and urgency.
•Builds and shares know-how to maintain an understanding of current incentives, internal process changes, and contract templates
•Communicates regularly and effectively with internal and external contacts, identified below, to provide instruction or explanation regarding contractual obligations, processes and impacts while maintaining the appropriate level of confidentiality.
•Ensures accurate and timely filing of all franchise documents (i.e., image and index all contracts, supporting documentation and relevant correspondence in the designated repository) and provides copies, as appropriate.
•Conducts research, analyzes legal issues, and assists with problem solving required to support internal and external clients in accordance with appropriate procedures.
•Proactively identifies and suggests ideas for continuous improvement to the franchise administration process.
•Completes special projects as requested.
Requirements:•Education/Certifications – Associates Degree required, Paralegal Certificate preferred
•Experience
•At least 2 years of experience in a large law firm or fast-paced corporate environment (corporate and contract experience a plus)
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
