Description:

Responsible for supporting the KFC US Growth & Development Strategies through ownership of the process for non-traditional new restaurants, existing licensee projects, and onboarding of new license partners. •Support the onboarding of new, large-scale Concessionaire license partners for KFC Non-Traditional •Successfully manage relationships and projects with existing licensees (overall partnership, new restaurant development, ongoing asset portfolio activities) •Support committed, multi-year growth and re-investment through non-traditional channel development •Support all phases of the development process, such as: market planning, site selection & approval, contracts, permitting, construction, and grand opening on new restaurants •Support planned development action approvals and timely new restaurant openings, including accurate forecasting and risk assessment •Ensure all Development activity is compliant and consistent with all related process and policies, including KFC Development Approval Committee requirements •Evaluate financial impact of Non-Traditional Development and strategic projects (pro forma, IRR, impact) Support business case and pitch for KFC Non-Traditional, including competitive advantages vs. other QSR •Support ongoing company initiatives such as closure mitigation •Support capital planning forecasting and P&L/NFA forecast items related to Development •Minimal (<20%) travel, with heavy travel possible at times to support Conventions and recruiting events

Requirements:

•Education/Certifications – BA/BS in real estate, finance, marketing or related field preferred •Experience and Skills: •Years of Experience – 3-5 years of work experience; non-traditional development and franchise recruiting/sales experience in multi-unit restaurant industry strongly preferred •Demonstrated track record of strong Project Management skills •Demonstrated ability to understand, and relate to, numerous stakeholders with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds •Must have strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and a desire to have a large commercial impact on the organization •Strong analytical and modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data and frame issues •Clear influencing, communication, and organizational skills •Ability to partner well with cross functional departments and work with all levels •Ability to efficiently manage workload well with shifting priorities •Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment •Strong system/technical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong/advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of BI solutions, SmartSheet, and real estate related tools is preferred.
