Description:

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the coordination of the housekeeping operations. A Dispatcher / Office Clerk must ensure he / she follows the company mission statement and values. Must maintain professional and effective relationships with the employees of both MasterCorp and serviced property.

Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: o Sitting for long periods o Ability to answer calls consistently o Ability to use keyboard consistently o Standing & walking o Climbing stairs o Twisting, bending, stooping and reaching o Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: o Odors or dust o Cleaning chemicals o Laundry chemicals MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: o Ability to make decisions o Planning and scheduling capabilities o Ability to read, write and do basic math o Use of long term and short term memory Reports to: Executive Housekeeper Direct Reports: none *The Dispatcher / Office Clerk is not limited to the above mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management. o Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence within the staff o Coordinate duties of housekeeping department o Assign tasks to staff and ensure tasks are completed o Maintain effective communication with housekeeping staff, front desk, and maintenance department o Report maintenance issues as per company procedures o Log and report lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper and Front Desk o Report vacant and ready units as per company procedures o Keep all logs timely, complete, and accurate o Clean, organize, stock, and assist in making linen & amenity bags as directed o Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training o Be knowledgeable of housekeeping procedures o Ensure a safe working environment TIMELINESS o Perform duties without immediate supervision o Willing and able to perform any and all duties related to site operation as directed o Ensure a sense of urgency exists within housekeeping staff so that units are turned on time o Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments and appointments BUDGET o Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively o Perform inventory counts as directed o Responsible for time efficiency of assigned staff CUSTOMER SERVICE o Assist in solving guest complaints promptly o Cultivate and develop strong, positive customer relations o Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners o Knowledgeable of the resort KEY BEHAVIORAL FACTORS: o A passion for cleanliness o Demonstrated motivational skills o Strong work ethic o Ability to train others o Desire to help others o Work irregular hours
